Great little read

Happy Monday readers! I just finished this wonderful book! I picked it up yesterday and finished it today! I just started reading it and was not able to put it down. It was so cute! It's probably more of a young reader book, but I loved every second of it! The main character, Lina, loses her mother and then goes over to Florence where her mom spent a few wonderful semesters at in her early twenties. Lina learns about her mom from a journal she receives and has such wonderful adventures with her neighbor in Florence, Ren. Jenna does such a wonderful job writing this cute little summer love story, so much so, that you just feel like picking up everything and saying, "I want to go to Florence!!" Italy just has a way with things. It's absolutely enchanting and everyone should at least go there once in their life. I know I fell head over heels for the country when I visited many, many years ago. I hope I have the chance to visit again one day, and have my "love and gelato" moment.
